This is a famous Historic Designated Landmark Church situated on the corner of Lincoln and Ellsworth. The Church’s turn of the century charm and craftsmanship are evident inside and out. The Church Elders voted to embark on a series of updates, remodel and correction of deferred maintenance problems.
For the exterior, we cleaned and repaired the masonry on the building, which included a chimney that had been struck by lightning. The stunning stained glass windows were covered with old Plexiglass. To restore their brilliance, we installed tempered glass with vented holes. We cleaned and painted all of the wood surfaces. As we went through the building, we repaired and replaced numerous pieces of the exterior trim. We also covered some window sills with metal to stop any further deterioration to the wood. We removed and replaced all of the exterior concrete sidewalks and landscaping. Stop by and check it out, or better yet, attend a service–you won’t be disappointed!
