Backyard Pergola
The owner wanted to add an outdoor pergola with fireplace to create outdoor living space for relaxing and entertaining. We designed the all metal, powder-coated steel framing so that there would be no maintenance issues. We installed lighting in the concrete floor, inside of the posts, and in the pergola’s ceiling. We secured the wiring within the pergola structure so that no electrical wires or piping can be seen. The fireplace is a massive piece of architectural concrete that was free formed in place. The fire rises from a bed of glass beads with a clear glass front screen.
Bathroom Remodel
Wellshire Golf Course
The customer’s architect designed a plan that involved a large addition for an all new kitchen and remodeled dining room and family room. The living room had the existing fireplace covered in cold rolled steel. We installed 6-ply Baltic birch custom cabinetry and millwork throughout the entry, living and dining room. The kitchen and laundry room cabinets were replaced with custom laminate cabinets and granite, Corian and wood tops. The new media room looks out onto a large yard, golf course and private tennis court. There is a see through, two-sided gas log fireplace that can be enjoyed from the family room or the new outdoor covered patio.
The covered patio has large, sliding, custom metal shutters to block strong afternoon sun if needed, or they can open to enjoy the sunshine and golf course views. We applied stucco to update the exterior of the home.
The tennis court was re-built with a post tension slab foundation and clay court overlay. We also re-landscaped the back yard with new sprinkler system and fencing.
Basement Remodel
The owner had a standard basement that was used for the kids to play and for storage. The kids were growing up and the owners wanted more living space. We began by installing 3 new egress windows. We built a media room with custom entertainment center, fireplace and wet bar, a bedroom, and new bathroom with stone flooring, vanity and shower surround. We also rebuilt the staircase walls to make them more open. The job turned out beautifully, and now everyone wants to use the basement.
Fire Restoration Home
This house suffered from a fire that gutted the garage and severely damaged the adjoining kitchen and family room. Most of the remaining house, including the main floor, roof and basement, was severely damaged by smoke and water. Prior to the fire, the house had undergone several room additions over the years, and they were easily noticeable as add-ons.
We demolished the house down to the floor, leaving most of the basement framing and about 1/3rd of the old main floor framing. We rebuilt the house, changing the original entry layout and raising the ceiling height to a 9 ft. minimum.
We constructed a new roof with a steeper pitch in order to integrate the new, functional floor plan. The living room has an expansive vaulted ceiling with many windows. Additional features include sculptured drywall, cove lighting, custom cabinetry and millwork, slab stone counters and hardwood flooring. We also created a front-facing walkout for the basement. At the rear of the home, we built a covered patio with 20′ peak and a full outdoor kitchen. We constructed a new, 3 car garage with extra deep bays, 10’ ceilings and accessible storage above. Additional exterior work includes beautiful open patios, refinished driveway, sprinkler system and landscaping.
